HISTORY OF FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH:
Faith Community Church (FCC) in Prague is a joint venture of Uptown Church in Charlotte and World Harvest Mission. The first team members arrived in Prague in spring 2005, and Faith Community began officially meeting in April 2007. They have moved across the city to the district of Prague 6.
OVERVIEW OF MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES IN PRAGUE:
Children - Children are involved in the worship services at FCC and there are also three classes for ages 0-8 to have their own lessons on Sundays.
Women - Women’s Bible Study meets on Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM at the Davis’.
Community Groups - Community groups meet during the year to gather in a more intimate setting to study God’s Word, fellowship, and pray together.
Mercy - FCC works with and supports a ministry in Prague called Teen Challenge. There are opportunities to serve as a volunteer in the after school program and to help with the various other needs of the ministry. There are also opportunities to pray on the first Fridays of the month at Wenceslas Square.
